Internet-based advertising research tools have enabled advertising and marketing personnel to improve their time-to-market, obtain quantitative results and eliminate geographic restrictions. At HCD Research™, we have designed and developed on-line tools for all three stages of print and broadcast advertising research:

Our web-based tool for the first stage of advertising development, HCD Research Message Optimizer™, harnesses the power of sophisticated quantitative tools with the flexibility of the Internet to help marketers improve product positioning and optimize copy and graphics.

HCD Research Message Optimizer™ is comprised of a three-phased research process that employs a hybrid conjoint analysis design, which determines the value that members of a particular market segment attach to various messages and graphics. HCD Message Optimizer provides a relative ranking of message elements and allows marketers to conduct computer simulations. Through these simulations, advertising and marketing personnel can more quickly determine the optimal overall message for promoting their products to target markets.

HCD Research AdverTest™ is a concept testing tool that uses the Internet to provide marketers with rapid, real-time insight into consumer preferences related to print or broadcast advertisements. HCD AdverTest is a flexible, cost-effective method for rapidly obtaining comprehensive data regarding consumer preferences to speed marketing decision making. The AEB (Ayer Emotional Battery) is an add-on tool that works to measure the mood and emotional impact of advertising. The AEB captures feelings of participants as they view advertising. HCD Research AdverTrak™ is an interactive advertising tracking and measuring tool that enables marketers to measure the effectiveness of their print and broadcast advertising through the Internet.
