Each month HCD Research interviews 120 physicians in one specialty through multi-client Internet-based Omnibus studies in Europe’s big four nations -- France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom. Thirty doctors from each country participate in the studies. Clients from the pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostic, drug delivery and medical device industries combine their purchasing power to save money by sharing the costs of programming, interviewing and honoraria.

Founded in 1991, HCD Research is a pioneer in web-based healthcare marketing research.  Using innovative technologies, clients can view their data findings in real time by logging on to a secure website with a password and an I.D.  The doctors are not selected from a panel; they opt in to participate in the studies. When a European survey is broadcasted it is on a first come, first served basis, and the studies are often finished in less than three weeks.

The costs are only $2,995 for a closed question and $3,895 for an open-end per study.  Clients also receive demographic information relative to the size and type of the physician’s practice, as well as his or her experience level and patient base.
