Each month HCD Research interviews 2 groups of 500 patients or health ailment sufferers by therapeutic area via 2 separate multi-client Internet based Omnibus studies. Clients from the pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostic, drug delivery, and medical device industries combine their purchasing power to save money by sharing the costs of programming, interviewing and honoraria.

HCD is a pioneer in the business of healthcare Internet marketing research and considered an innovator in electronic data collection technologies. Client participants can view their data findings in real time by logging on to a secure web site with a password and an I.D. The patients are not selected from a panel; they opt in themselves. When a nationwide survey is broadcasted it is first come first served and the studies are finished in less than 1 week.

Costs are only $1,150 for a closed question and $1,350 for an open-end per study. Clients also receive the following demographics: age, gender, ethnicity, marital status, household income, type of health insurance and severity of ailment; plus information about the patients’ health history and current medications.
